Cormac McNamara
Cormac McNamara - ASU Student with Diverse Interests
Cormac M. McNamara is an Arizona State University (ASU) finance student who has studied abroad and gained valuable experience through internships. Expected to graduate in May 2026, he previously attended the CIEE Global Institute in Rome, where he studied European Union trade, emerging market investment, and cross-border finance. Cormac McNamara served as an intern with one of his professors at CIEE and also spent the summer of 2025 as a treasury-credit team intern at Freeport-McMoRan in Phoenix.
At ASU, Mr. McNamara is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. With the fraternity, he has led initiatives to increase civic engagement, including campus-wide voter registration drives, and participated in fundraising events for local veterans' organizations and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. McNamara enjoys traveling and playing sports. He has played golf internationally in Ireland and the Dominican Republic, and has played hockey throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. McNamara has traveled to Hungary, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Morocco, Spain, and the Czech Republic, among other countries. His other interests include chess, deep-sea fishing, and hiking.
